Why are all the adult Halloween costumes so slutty?
I don't really need a costume and I am not going to a Halloween party, but I'm looking through the Sunday paper and there is a flyer for an ad for a party store[phpbay] All of the female adult costumes are so revealing and slutty[phpbay] I've actually never been to a Halloween party, but judging by these costumes, it looks like they are made for sex parties[phpbay] I'm just curious, what is the deal? Why are there so many sleazy costumes?
I've purchased "sexy" costumes the past couple of years because some of them ARE really cute[phpbay] However, I don't like it when my parts are hanging out, so I've had to be more creative[phpbay][phpbay][phpbay] like this year, I bought a petticoat to wear underneath[phpbay] No only did it give me a poofier skirt, but I wore it low so it added a few inches to my hemline[phpbay] My friend also has a "slutty" costume with sheer material in the front and an open back[phpbay][phpbay][phpbay] so she bought a matching camisole and wore it underneath (she tucked the straps into her bra) and NO ONE knew[phpbay] Pairing the costumes with opaque tights (instead of fishnets) and wearing a lower heel or flat shoe also decreases the skank-factor[phpbay]
So buy what you like, but tweek it to work for you[phpbay][phpbay][phpbay]either by buying a larger size then hemming the bottom to where YOU feel comfortable, or wear accessories that tame the outfit[phpbay] Good luck
