Not exactly what was in the top ten were the Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost Vampire Diaries LJ Smith, Undead and [phpbay][phpbay][phpbay] by MaryJanice Davidson, The Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz, Vampire Beach Alex Duval Smith LJ Night World, Nikki and Michael Keri Arthur, Nina Bangs Mackenzie Vampires, and human rights law by Melanie Nowak[phpbay] Top two series on this list have also been adapted to the screen, the wildly popular Twilight Saga movies and television series True Blood on HBO[phpbay] It may have only helped their dominance in this survey[phpbay] While not great literature must be adapted to the screen, it is clearly noted a number and bring a whole new group of fans[phpbay] Cinema Darren Shan (Cirque Du Freak: Vampire's Assistant) will be released in late 2009[phpbay] Both House of Night, and Vampire Academy movies or television adaptations are almost inevitable, although there seems to be even close to production[phpbay] If the new CW Network TV series based on LJ Smith Vampire Diaries is a hit, these novels are certainly in the top ten for the next vamp lit survey[phpbay] And finally, it is beautiful to see that modern icon Anne Rice vampire literature, a pioneer in the list, even if it was not in the top five[phpbay] Strangely, only two of Anne Rice's novels (Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned) have been transformed in the history of films[phpbay]
