Ideas for kids costumes for school play?
The kids are doing a play for the end of year concert at school, and I need help with a camel costume and a peacock costume[phpbay] Any ideas or helpful websites I can look at to make something - CHEAP is the key word here - no money to hire outfits or buy expensive material to make something[phpbay] The kids are 6 years old[phpbay] Thanks!
On the camel, I think the hardest part might be the head - either that, or having two 6 year olds try to walk in tandem! But here's an idea: have them both wear brown pants or sweats, use a thin foam padding material to create a basic 2-hump shape, and drape brown material or even a brown sheet over it[phpbay] You may even be able to just paint the face of the front child to resemble a camel[phpbay] Here is a picture for a 'general' idea:
