Albums by producer-rappers always come with a little caution in the air. Sure, he likes big Pro DJ Quik and Kanye West have proven you can be talented, such as in the cabin and behind the boards. But, particularly in the case of Mr. West, you say, if one looks back to the other, cough Graduation cough. Then you have cats like Madlib, which is of course wonderfully talented producer, but faltered during the movement of the amazing co Jaylib.

Fortunately, this is not the Philadelphia-based Lushlife, which is known to be supplied along with his sophomore effort Cassette City. And although there are some problems that deny the flaring of the total effort, the album is solid enough to make it worth listening to, especially through the first eight general 13 tracks.

Ur Raj Haldar, to India in the background, is a multi-instrumentalist, classical and jazz in the background. In 2005, inspired by the Danger Mouse Grey Album, created West Sounds, Kanye weakening of the Beach Boys lyrics samples. His debut album, Order of Operations was released a year later.

About the ink! K7 subsidiary Rapster, Lushlife drops Cassette airy and refreshing small town with respect to the mainstream, even making an album they'll adore. It not a bad, bitter backpack is pop rapper decrying commercialism declare the realest in hip hop. Rhymefest Lushlife combines wit, street smarts with Lupe Fiasco and the pop sensibility of Mr. West in an entertaining and uncompromising LP.

Lushlife production skills has always outshined his skill with the microphone, Cartridge City, but he sees off balance the two interests. Like its name, the album is lush production. It is filled with walls of sound production in almost exactly the production across the Wu-Tang. Difficult not to fall in love with instrumental Lushlife's.

The album offers a number of calls offer a truly satisfying eclectic list of guest players such as Camp Lo, Ariel Pink, Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend and Greg Saunier, Deerhoof drummer (I was not kidding, that's pretty sick of hip-hop album, no?) show the kind of quality that results from MCing, production and tooling down all the samples on his lonesome.

Fortunately, Lushlife improve as a rapper is what makes the album. It is hard to rap along certain beats because they are so full Lushlife but it pulls well. His swagger on the street is just enough to appeal to a wide audience of hip hop and only a backpack, which is not so inconvenient in so unique beats. Is this the direction Lushlife happens, it seems that long and illustrious career ahead of him.
