Have vampires ever sparkled in sunlight before Twilight?
This is just some silly fan girl question[phpbay] I'm doing my senior research paper on vampires, and I was wondering if there was any other myth, story, or legend where a vampire sparkled in the sunlight[phpbay]
First of all, you don't need to defend your question[phpbay] Whether it's for a school paper or you're genuinely interested, you shouldn't be ashamed of asking anything (even if it's to save yourself from criticism)[phpbay] If you're not a "silly fan girl", then the brutal complaints shouldn't bother you 
Stephenie Meyer was the first author to incorporate sparkling Vampires into her books[phpbay] Before the Twilight saga, Vampires were creatures of the night[phpbay] If they were exposed to the sun, they would become weak, and die - Usually in some form of combustion[phpbay]
