The V5 virus is used to explain why some of these vampire that have been trapped and caught[phpbay][phpbay][phpbay] And they are living is special housing units and they are never allowed to be seen in public ever again[phpbay][phpbay][phpbay]The V5 virus is what caused their condition[phpbay] and there is no known cure[phpbay] They have all the increments of a real vampire and on occasion they do drink blood[phpbay][phpbay] But they do not suffer from the thing that real vampires suffer from [phpbay]

I know a little (a lot) about the Vampire V5 Virus[phpbay] My personal belief, from reseach and intuition is that the virus is closely related to the common flu and AIDS[phpbay] Obviously not all parents with HIV/AIDS pass it on to their children; same for the V5[phpbay] This virus changes the DNA, much like HIV does[phpbay]

This virus can be fought off if the person's immune system is strong enough[phpbay] The V5 virus passes from vampire to person in saliva, blood, and to a lesser degree semen[phpbay] Therefore, it is totally possible to "turn" a human being to a vampire[phpbay]

As part of the DNA mutation, vampires are stronger, have better senses, and run faster[phpbay] Their senses are so much more sensitive, however, that their skin blisters easily and their eyes burn in sunlight[phpbay] They therefore, of course, prefer to stay away from the sun[phpbay]

The bloodthirst is a biological need, as in the body actually needs it[phpbay] The immortality is just because the body physically ages a year for every few years the human would otherwise age[phpbay] Vampires will eventually die no matter what[phpbay]

Another part of the DNA mutation is that the body will heal quicker and the organs will heal themselves (hence the whole dodging bullets thing[phpbay][phpbay]
