What should I read after reading Twilight series, and Vampire Academy series?
I've read the Twilight series and I absolutely adore them[phpbay] I read the Vampire academy and cannot WAIT for the 5th and 6th to come out[phpbay] But Now i'm stuck[phpbay][phpbay][phpbay] What else is there to read after those series? I like the same genre, fiction with vampire desires Any help?
Well, I don't have much vampire stuff to recommend, since you're already reading the only vampire series I would ever tell someone they absolutely needed to read (i[phpbay]e[phpbay] Vampire Academy)[phpbay] I would recommend everything else by Richelle Mead as well, since her stories are all awesome[phpbay] But I might be biased since I love all of her books[phpbay] Richelle's Dark Swan series is great[phpbay] It's probably my second favorite[phpbay] But I really like the Georgina Kincaid series as well[phpbay]

Most of what I've been reading lately is YA novels, some paranormal romance stuff, some not[phpbay] Here's a couple you might be interested in[phpbay]
SHIVER by Maggie Stiefvater is about a girl named Grace and the wolves that live in the forest behind her house[phpbay] It's a paranormal romance[phpbay] I think Twilight fans would like this one[phpbay]

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is probably the most amazing thing I've read recently and I love it almost as much as I love Vampire Academy[phpbay] I only finished it yesterday and had to run out to the store to buy the sequel, Catching Fire[phpbay] I'm completely obsessed with this series[phpbay] Though it's not actually in the paranormal genre, it's still an awesome read[phpbay]
More info and excerpts here:

I started reading Glass Houses, the first book in the Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine[phpbay] I really like it so far[phpbay] I haven't had a chance to finish it though[phpbay] But it's pretty good and I plan on reading the rest of the series[phpbay] Richelle Mead actually recommends this series to anyone who asks her what vampire books she likes (other than her own of course )[phpbay]
You can read an excerpt of it here:

You might also want to check out Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston[phpbay] It's about faeries[phpbay] I haven't finished this one yet either, but it was fun[phpbay]

I haven't gotten to this one yet, but I thought that Dreaming Anastasia by Joy Preble seemed like an interesting book[phpbay] I picked it up the other day after reading some of it online at Amazon[phpbay]

I figure Wings by Aprilynne Pike is worth mentioning too[phpbay] I personally didn't like it all that much, but my sister liked it[phpbay] It's also about faeries[phpbay] Twilight fans in particular might enjoy this one[phpbay]

If I Stay is another great little book[phpbay] It's about seventeen year old Mia[phpbay] She has some tough choices in her life[phpbay] Should she go to Julliard and stay true to her love for the cello? Should she stay in Oregon with her boyfriend Adam and her family and friends? But one February morning changes everything in an instant[phpbay] Only one choice remains, and it is the hardest one she's ever had to make[phpbay]

My little sister made me buy her Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher while I was out getting Catching Fire yesterday[phpbay] I've read part of it and have liked it so far[phpbay] It's an interesting book[phpbay] It's about Clay Jensen, who returns home from school one afternoon and finds a package with his name on it and no return address[phpbay] Inside are cassette tapes recorded by a girl - Hannah Baker - who'd committed suicide a few weeks earlier[phpbay] She explains through her recordings that there are thirteen reasons why she committed suicide[phpbay] And if he listens to the tapes, he'll find out how he's one of them[phpbay]
